If model railroading interests you, you’re invited to visit the The Spring Creek Model Railroad Club.
We established the club in January 1986 and developed a unique HO scale horseshoe-shaped modular layout. Our current modular layout is 32 feet by 40 feet, has almost 300 feet of dual mainline track,
seven switching areas, an HOn3 narrow-guage-line in mountainous territory and a 30-foot main switching yard. We model
many eras from the 1880’s to the present day and operate steam, diesel, freight and passenger equipment. The HO portion of the layout is equipped to operate using a Digital Command Control (DCC) system. The HOn3 portion can run on both DCC and DC. We set up our layout on weekends at train shows, recreation centers or other locations about 6 times a year.
We meet once each month at different members homes and occasionally take field trips such as riding tourist trains, attending train shows,
visiting museums and railroad equipment manufacturers.
We enjoy promoting the hobby and we welcome new members who are interested in the modular railroad concept and who want to have fun.
